I’ve been investing in Malaysia Bursa stock market for few years but never join any meeting of the listed company. This time due to FMCO free at home, I’ve decided to join the virtual EGM of Dnex Berhad & performing my first digital voting.
If u are the shareholder of the listed company, everytime the company having annual/extraordinary general metting, they will send u email and letter to acknowledge u. Normally the event will be helded at Hotel or company building, but to due Covid-19, most of it changed to online or virtual. For me, is very convenient to join virtual meeting, except no door gift or free meal…haha
Once registered to attend the meeting, u will receive email for the virtual meeting link and digital ballot form. For my case, the virtual meeting is conducted through webinar which is similar to zoom meeting.
The digital ballot form is in PDF format, once downloaded and open, there is a link for u to click and redirect to the voting form, then just cast your vote and submit only. The whole process is very simple and easy. As a shareholder, is advised to join the meeting to have more info, understanding and know what is happening to “Your Company”, haha~~~
